The rules of cybersecurity are changing fast. AI-powered attacks are already moving at machine speed, while the arrival of quantum computing is putting a deadline on many of the encryption methods organizations rely on today.
At our next HEK Club meeting, we will welcome Tudor Damian, Head of Managed Services at D3 Cyber, for a practical session on how organizations can prepare for AI-driven threats and the transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography.
Date: 9 October 2026
Time: 11:00–12:00 CEST
Where: Online (Zoom)
Language: English
The “future” of AI and quantum computing is no longer something security teams can treat as a distant concern.
Organizations are increasingly facing autonomous AI agents capable of attacking at machine speed, while Q-Day – the point at which sufficiently powerful quantum computers could break much of today’s public-key encryption – creates a new long-term risk for sensitive data.
One of the most immediate concerns is “Harvest Now, Decrypt Later”: attackers can collect encrypted data today with the intention of decrypting it once quantum capabilities become available.
Since migrating to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) can take years rather than months, organizations need to start preparing well before Q-Day arrives.
During the session, Tudor will explore how to:
plan and sequence a transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography in line with emerging standards,
address the risks of “Harvest Now, Decrypt Later” attacks,
defend against AI-driven malware and attacks that can move faster than traditional SOC processes,
build crypto-agile architectures that allow organizations to adapt as cryptographic standards and threats evolve,
prepare security strategies not only for today’s attacks, but for the next generation of cyber threats.

I would like to thank all the interesting and well known participants for joining and ofcourse the organizers, Palsit d.o.o. Usually, when people attend online workshops they leave faster than they come. The common theme is boring and at worst confusing. I don't want to brag (too much). But this workshop was critical and fruitful. What made it sooo good? What brought it to that level of yum? Here's what made it a great experience: The atmosphere was ….Ol' fashioned. That's right… Tech guys (and gals) sitting in a round table discussion, talking the old fashioned way. · Real conversation · Mutual respect · Positive energy We had jokes, analogies, and stories that connected all of us. I'm really looking forward to the next event. Thank you all for making it an online event to remember.
